A marketer generally perceives Soon as a finite, known, yet unspeakable time-interval; to a fan, the interval appears greater, and may in fact approach the infinite, becoming Never. Once the interval has passed, however, a certain time-lensing effect seems to occur, and the time-interval becomes vanishingly small. We therefore see the strange result that the same fragment of spacetime may be observed, in quick succession, as Soon, Never, and All Too Quickly.

It seems like 5% of online gamers have names that relate to MLP:FiM. These pony tag sporting gamers seem to be less dickish than others (not hard to do).
I do enjoy the love put into that poster. The font, the cutie marks, the use of white space. Well done, mystery pony guy. I'd suggest you go to the furry pony club.

So, a few pages ago, someone mentioned writing up the ponies in After Sundown. This sounded interesting, so I took it upon myself to make this a thing. I worked on it off and on for a while now, and I'm mostly done. The meat of the project is finished, but I'm having incredible difficulty finishing the stats for the main cast. I'm comfortable saying that I'm at the point where I need outside input, both for ideas and critique. Now, should I post what I have here (keep the pony in one thread), or should I start up a thread in IMOI (since that's the proper forum for this kind of thing)?

Here's the thread, as promised. I hope it holds up to scrutiny half as well as I'm expecting it to.

Leress, did you ever hang out with the pony folk? Also, how much yiffing occurred at the meeting? Were you loved and tolerated there? Did they all have neckbeards?
I need to know, and you're the one who needs to find out!

Not much new stuff to say about the show, except the Mysterious Mare-do-well and Nightmare Night are still my two favorite episodes of the season.
Everyone else, favorite episodes of the new season!?

For this season? Toss-up between Luna Eclipsed and Hearth's Warming Eve. I really like all but the two latest Cutie Mark Crusader episodes and the episode where Twilight Sparkle snapped to meet her deadline.Pseudo Stupidity wrote:Not much new stuff to say about the show, except the Mysterious Mare-do-well and Nightmare Night are still my two favorite episodes of the season.

I'm under the impression the CMC exist solely to make bad episodes.
Not a single one that they are the focus of has been good. There are bits where they'll be funny in episodes that don't focus on them, but DAMNIT STOP MAKING EPISODES ABOUT THEM. I hate to say it, but I love and tolerate them less than the other cast members.

I liked the episode where Grannie Smith told Apple Bloom's class her life story. I like the CMCs individually, but dislike most of their episodes.

You should gain sanity for finding out that the problems of a region are because there are fucking monsters there.

He jumps like a damned dragoon, and charges into battle fighting rather insane monsters with little more than his bare hands and rather nasty spell effects conjured up solely through knowledge and the local plantlife. He unerringly knows where his goal lies, he breathes underwater and is untroubled by space travel, seems to have no limits to his actual endurance and favors killing his enemies by driving both boots square into their skull. His agility is unmatched, and his strength legendary, able to fling about a turtle shell big enough to contain a man with enough force to barrel down a near endless path of unfortunates.

The one space that concerns me is the Rainbow Dash space, mouthrape is a little over the top for a boardgame. It doesn't even come late enough that somebody (who isn't gay/bi) could be so drunk they think it's a good idea!
Now I need to find friends who like MLP and booze in the real world.

It doesn't say you have to kiss on the mouth...
It does look like you can make it through the board with some luck and not take any drinks until the middle blues. Hrm. Perhaps take a drink per each number rolled on the die (which is cumulative with the one whose square does the same).
I'm assuming this is drinks of beer not shots of hard alcohol. We once made that mistake in a drinking game and we made it 30 min before everyone was shit faced (some more than others, I was about middle of the road with at least a dozen shots of rum/whiskey/vodka/etc... the lightest girls had more than that).

I'd assume drinks of beer as well, otherwise the "roll and drink that many" spaces are incredibly punishing. Still, nobody is going to get past the Nightmare Moon space, just make a drink that's mostly 151 in a fairly large cup and watch your friend die right before your eyes!
I did play a game of "Shotio Party" once, which was playing Mario Party and having to take a shot if...
1. You landed on a red space.
2. You landed on a bowser (or Bowser Junior, I think we were playing 7) space.
3. Your team lost a minigame (2v2, 3v1).
4. You lost a single player minigame.
5. An opponent got a star.
6. A star was stolen from you.
7. You couldn't afford to buy a star but passed a star space.
You also got to give out a shot every time you won a free-for-all minigame.
It pretty much amounted to a shot or two each round if you were unlucky or people were out to get you. Fortunately Mario Party rounds take a few minutes, particularly when drunk and trash talking each other. I played it with 2 friends, and it was fun watching the computer get progressively better as we got progressively more drunk. Ended up playing 2 15-turn games, which got me into a fairly powerful drunken stupor. I kind of miss school.

Scattergories the drinking game --
If you win, take a drink.
If you can convince the group that your unique answer is valid - take a drink and everyone takes a drink.
You'll soon find that the game equalizes and the chance of winning is now based less on skill and more on drunk.
